Went to a famous restaurant to have family dinner, and also to celebrate DADDY'S BIRTHDAYYYY. Hehehehx. But the queue for a table inside the restaurant was so LONGGGGGG> :< Forgiven cause the food is AWESOMELY YUMMMMY! (as shown above hehe)

After dinner, of cuz need to have desserts right?

Boring Saturday filled with uncompleted projects

I slept at this morning 5am. All thanks to my lappy that died on me ytd. It kept giving me blue screens and showing 'Fatal system error'. *insert robotic voice on repeat* UGH irritating maxxxx. Hence, I had to redo ALL projects that I am left with and after that I spent hours waiting for my dear lappy to finish installing 151 updates (which took like years!). I fell asleep while waiting and taaaadaa at freaking 1130am, my dear lil brother woke me up just because he said I was sleeping for so darn long already! (tsk he didn't know I slept wayyyyyyy later than him!) :<

*angry that volcano is erupting*

O'well, lil brother woke me up to ask me to cook brunch together w him, so that he could eat before he head out to study outside w his friends. We used the oven to cook dory fish fillet (his), nuggets (ours to share), pork belly (super yummy but mostly his :<) and lastly the highight *shine lights* is the pork belly with egg in the center.

AT FIRST, we wanted to just try it out. BUT it turns out super yummy! Especially when you eat the pork belly meat together with the egg, that is just nice cooked with its soft and awesomely yummy sunny egg yolk.

I shall try cooking it again later hehehehehehehehx.

After brunch, my Saturday is pretty summed up already. PROJECTS PROJECTS AND MORE PROJECTS. But I am glad I managed to finished up those remaining projects left.

Gonna update my blog tmw (hopefully) cause tmrw my family will be celebrating my daddy's birthdayyyyyy. Hehehehehs,YAY and LOVE HIM. ♥

It has always been like this. Well for the old, dumb and naive chee xiu zhen. Always saying "yes", "okie sure" to everything people requested or asked for. That's how I am. Following around, being neglected, trying my best to do everything for you, trying hard to gain your attention, trying every single time to blend and adapt in, waiting hours for you, didn't want to see you cause when I do i will want to see you more and do not want to leave.

But today, I asked myself. Why am I doing all these for? Why do I feel like I'm the only dumb and stupid one doing all these? Why am i following around like a dog? Why am I putting someone so important to me as my priority when I'm not theirs? What is the point? Do they understand what I've been through, no I don't so. If they do, they wouldnt did what they knew would hurt to me.

Promises broken, are like scars that never heal. Again, again and again non-stop promises have been breaking. To the point that I see promises as a hollow shell to words. They are nothing but useless words to assure someone that they won't repeat their mistakes ONLY AT THAT POINT OF TIME. But to me, it no longer works on me because I don't believe in those sweer-talking craps and shits anymore. I NO LONGER TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE.

I see no point striving so hard for you. From now on, I'm just gonna live my life like how I want to control it. It's up to you to keep up or go. Cause I'm not like you, disregarding me like a thing. I gave you the freedom to choose. It's time to distance ourselves away, to see how much I really meant to you. If I do matter, you will notice me. If I don't, then I will know how much I stand in your heart.

Batam trip w family during CNY ♥

On the day leaving for Batam, our whole family had to be awake by 530am in da early morningggggg. OMG and the previous night, me and bro couldn't fall asleep at all. Well, maybe we're just too eggcited for the trip already hehe.

So, we managed to wake up on timeeeee and rushed to Harbourfront to take our boat. :D

We had breakfast there, collected boat tickets and queued a freaking long time to board the boat. OMFG we queued for about 1 and an half hour before it's our turn to board the boat. I were soooo pissed off that time ugh.

Weeeeeell, I thought all queuing was over but I was wrong. After the boat ride of about 45 mins, we had to queued for the chopping of stamps on our passport etc. Oh my mama, we queued for about an hour plus moreeeee before we can finally exit from the custom @ Batam.

Another problem when we were out from the custom there was that we couldn't find our tour guideeeeeeee. We asked around and found no one of our travel agency. I were like cursing non-stop then cause we are hungry, sleepy and tired from the long morning already.

Luckily some kind souls from other travel agencies came forward and helped us to call the agency of ours. WELL WE CAME TO REALIZED THAT OUR STICKERS GIVEN TO US WERE SINGAPORE'S TRAVEL AGENCY'S NAME. We should have the stickers pasted on us from the travel agency from Batam itself. UGH GRR RAWR. In the end, we still managed to find our tour guide hehe.

SO NOW, 1st day of Batam trip w family begins! ^_^

Firstly, we went to a shop then sells all sort of crackers and famous food of Indonesia. Before I entered the shop, there was a really cute kitty cat sleeping outside the shop. AWWWW *screams* MEOW so cuteeeee!

Okieeee back to the shop topic, there really was alot of various types of food inside the shop. I were super amazed and eggcited to see so many tidbits there hehehe. I took a shopping basket and my whole family began to explore the shop for food that Singapore doesn't have. Our food hunting began hehe.

There were special durian cakes and more from the shop that were uniquely selling in the shop. Alot of tidbits were also selling like prawn and fish crackers, drinks, special green chilli sauce (It's so yummy w all types of food especially w crackers that I persuaded my parents to buy 2 bottles back home hehe) and etc. Mainly are their special products, crackers of all sorts. (Y)

After shopping in the shop for about 20 mins, we exited the shop and went to walk around the shop to look look around. My mummy saw a man selling passion fruits in bundles and he was at the same time selling turtle eggggggs omfg. She said they were still warm omggggg I can't believe why would anyone eats it. :< TSK

Next stop after the tidbits shop, we went to visit the kueh lapis shop (well idk how to spell it hehe :p). We had a tasting session and all looks so yummy hehe, the plate of samples were finished quickly by the tourists, including our family. AND SO, mummy ordered 2 batches of cheese and prunes kueh lapis to be collected on our last day before returning to Singapore to ensure it's freshness. Regardless to say, the cheese one is awesomeeeeee hehe ♥ it!

Next would be lunch timeeeeee yay, being waiting for this moment to come for so long cause I were really starving then. :p

We walked to the restaurant as it was just located besides the kueh lapis shop. While walking there, saw a children's playground and it was so cuteeeeee. Slides were tiny and so were swings and more. Well, I suddenly missed being a kid and playing in my own tiny castle w my friends. Le sigh, I miss my childhood hehe. Back then, as a kid, there is nothing to worry or trouble about. In our children's world, there is nothing like hurt to us and we did not have to worry about people walking away from our life at all. Nothing of the sort. As we grow up, bullshits and all start to happen non-stop. And how we grew independent was how we faced the problems sometimes alone or w friends that will stay and not walk away.

Back to topic, there were tons of different seafood sold there but I did not have time to see them and rushed straight to my table to eattttt hehe, sorry I were too hungry and just wanted to see what was for lunch. :p

ALL THESE WERE MY LUINCH FOR DAYYYYY 1, hehe it was an awesome lunch. And my favorite of food was of cuzzzz GONG GONG. ♥ The food served overall were nice together w the awesome scenery of the sea facing us. It was really an awesome sight to see the sea and enjoy good food there.

Our table not only had my family but also another family of 4 who sat with us as well. They were super friendly Taiwan people who stayed in Singapore for more than 20 years. They told us about them going to other countries as well like Italy, Korea, Japan and of cuz back to their home town, Taiwan. Alot of stories were exchanged during that lunch between our family and one thing in common is that the uncle loves to eat fish just like my daddy haha. :> Hence, both of them had alot of common topics to talk about.

After lunchtime, we went to the seafood place where various types of seafood were sold (like I mentioned earlier I didn't went to explore due to my hungry stomach). There were alot of seafood that I didn't see before in Singapore. One disgusting seafood I saw was "chuk chuk", omgggggg inside it's shell it was red in color and it's creepy crawling. *goosebumpssss* I swear I won't ever eat it even though I didn't try it before.

I saw my favorite seafood too, which is gong gong. There were ALOT of gong gongs there omggggg so yummy I wished I could bring it ALL home to cook and eat hehe. ^.^

After lunch, our tour guide arranged a special traditional show for us. Everyone was overwhelmed by the performance. The men there swallowed and ate glass, ate fire stones, peeled open a coconut with his teeth and more. Oh mama, what a performance, I wonder if they were alright.

After watching the traditional performance, we went to a shop where it sells bags and clothing. I AM NOT INTERESTED (only so rare that I am not interested in shopping, but nothing suits me there le haix) and so I went to walk around the shop inside and outside.

I saw there was a racing kart car field outside the shop and initially I wanted to play w my bro however the sun was being too asshole, it was too hot and sunny outside so we decided to stay inside where there was air-con hehe.

Next we went to visit mini houses hehe so cuteeeee right?

To be honest, it was really really too hot for anyone to come down the cooling bus to visit these small, tiny and cute houses so only those who interested went to see these only. HAHA and I were one of the three persons who came down the bus. :p

Next we went to chocolate house!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYY! ^_^

Everyone explored and looked around, including me as well. HAHA I bought some chocolates for my friends as well! Me and m y bro brought alcohol chocolates (it was my bro who suggested to buy it, woah he is very into alcohol chocolates now ~) and my daddy bought sugar free hazelnut chocolate. :>

There were fruits chocolates tooooo I tried the Durian chocolate and IT WAS SO NICEEEEE IDK WHAT TO SAY. ♥ But sadly we didn't buy booooos. :<

These were the chocolates our family bought, hehe the cookies and cream chocolates were recommended to me by our tour guide. Hence, I bought them for my friends. ^.^ (But i haven't give it to them yet.)

We tried the alcohol chocolates on the tour bus while waiting for other people to finish their chocolates shopping. It was very yummy hehehe I prefer the whiskey one than the martinque one. :> (Look at the alcohol inside!)

It was time for shopping againnnnnnn, haha while daddy went for body massage, me and mummy and brother went shopping and walked around. There is nothing much to buy at allllllll le sigh. We got bored walking around and mummy wanted to try out their local food hence we found a eating house. We 3 tried the food there well it was not bad just that it was abit ... not so hygienic but it was yummy still. :> Their teh tarik was niceeeeee as it was thick and flavorful enough!

Hehe I was bored on the tour bus and taadaaaaa, selca. :p

TAADAAAA, this was our hotel! The hotel is damn big, comfy and niceeeee. I ♥ the bathroom and bed and tv the mostttttt! ^_^

After we checked in, we went out shopping. Hehehe yay.

Me and bro bought a new school bag and daddy bought himself new belts and stuff too. We walked around and bought cup noodles and drinks to stock up our hotel room's food.

After buying foooood and drinks, we saw a "BFC" which is almost (or simply exactly) the same as "KFC" just that "BFC" stands for Best Fried Chicken. HAHAHAHA when me and brother saw the name who looked at each other and laughed non-stop. BFC's slogan is "It's tongue crunchy good" HAHA which is simliar to KFC's "It's finger licking good" right? :D However BFC's menu is totally different from KFC. They sell all sort of food besides fried chicken there. After tasting their fried chicken (which tastes like .. "no comments"), we took the tour bus for dinneeeeer wooyeah! ^_^ (eggcited for dinner cause I heard it's gonna be a feastttt!)

DINNER WAS AWESOMEEEEEEEEE! By all the pictures shown, it's enough to understand just how yummy was my dinner right? *Pictures speaking a thousand words* HEHE, don't be jealousssssss. :p

After dinner was fireworks timeeee. It was my first time seeing fireworks exactly above my head, they were loud, big, colorful and just, first time experiencing this. *jaws dropped*

Let me tell you what's life, lying on a bench besides huge pools, looking at the starry night sky being filled up w non-stopped fireworks above your head. It was so near that you could feel your heart beat being taken by those loud fireworks' sounds. *ahhhhh, life) Sad thing is, happy things tend to end fast.
*le sighhh*

Day 2 of Batam trip!

WOOHOOO buffet breakfast in the hotel, yummmmmmmy hehe I missed the buffet breakfast there already! ♥ I took pictures of all the food there but it was in my iphone instead of my S3 so well, lazy to upload hehe. :p

Hehe, anyway after breakfast we went to walk and shop around and the above pictures were our dinner for our last day @ Batam. ^_^ Dinner was niceeee too well perhaps I were too hungry though, everything tastes nice to me. But the truth is, the food @ Batam were really cheap. :p SO ALL OF THE FOOD WERE WORTH IT. HEHE

Back to Singapore, haixxxxxx I missing there already although I hope there will be more shopping next time I go there again. :<

Came back Singapore, and parents wanna buy DFS (alcohol) so yeaaaaa there it is. The one on the extreme one looks special! It is Martell bleu something. Hehe, daddy bought it. Anyway, reached home and rushed to ah gong's house for reunion dinner. I ♥ their cooking so so so so much! Every year always anticipating reunion dinner w them (especially steamboat) *saliva dripping*

UGHHHHH I AM SO HUNGRY NOW, byeeeee off to cook noodles for myself! ^_^
